Tiandra Anderson: The Rising Star of Downhill Biking
We are thrilled to announce that our sponsored rider Tiandra Anderson has finished second in the overall standings of the Scottish Downhill Association (SDA) series, after a phenomenal season of racing. This is an incredible feat for someone who has only been competing for a year!
Tiandra is a fearless, determined, and passionate downhill biker who has been making waves in the Scottish and British racing scene. She has a knack for speed, adrenaline and adventure, and we are honoured to have her as part of the Off Beat Bikes family.
Tiandra started mountain biking seriously in February 2022 and entered her first race in June ’22. She was instantly hooked and quickly proved her talent and potential. At her debut race, she secured second place in the Scottish Downhill Championships at Glenshee. Since then, she has been unstoppable, with podium finishes in every race she entered. Some of her highlights include:
- First place at the Student Championships
- First place Senior Women category at Glenshee Scottish DH
- Second place in the Senior Women category at Innerleithen SDA
- Third place at the British Downhill Series in Fort William
- Second place in the Female 15-21 category at the MacAvalanche

Tiandra is not only a gifted athlete, but also a hard-working and dedicated student. She is currently studying at West Highland College and has recently received the University of Highlands and Islands Blues award. The award recognises athletes of outstanding ability in their chosen sport. When asked what she loves about mountain biking, she said “I like the thrill of going downhill at insane speeds over some extreme terrain and through the forests”.
We are so proud of Tiandra for her amazing achievements and we can’t wait to see her in action in her upcoming races. We are confident that she will continue to impress us with her skills and passion. Tiandra is a true inspiration for all aspiring downhill bikers and we are delighted to support her in her journey.
Please join us in congratulating Tiandra on her remarkable success and wishing her all the best for the future!
