Recycle 'N Ride: Donate and Buy Pre-loved Biking Gear to Support the Fort William Bike Park
Recycle ‘N Ride is a new initiative by Off Beat Bikes. We aim to promote waste reduction, encourage new riders, and support thriving local biking scene by selling donated biking gear at a fair price. All proceeds go directly to the Fort William Bike Park fund, a project that aims to create a world-class mountain biking facility in the heart of the Highlands.
"As a charity community group, we aim to construct and run a world-class Bike Park which will incorporate a Pump Track, BMX/Skate Park and a Pushbike Trials facility for tutoring and teaching in the Fort William area. Our goal is to promote recreational wheeled sports where we inspire the local community by providing accessible, inclusive and inspiring facilities that enable and encourage people to engage in wheeled sports in all its forms regardless of gender, age, ethnicity or ability."

How Recycle ‘N Ride Works
It’s simple: bring your unwanted biking kit to Off Beat Bikes at 117 High Street, Fort William, and leave it with a member of our team. We will sort, clean, and price your items, and display them in our Recycle ‘N Ride section. You can also browse our selection of pre-loved biking gear and find some great bargains for yourself or your friends.
We then donate the profits to the Fort William Bike Park to help keep it open and running.
*Please note that we only accept new or gently worn items that are clean and functional. We do not accept damaged garments, undergarments, or non-cycling kit/brands. For more details on what we accept and what we don’t, please see below.

Why Donate to Recycle ‘N Ride
By donating your biking kit to Recycle ‘N Ride, you are not only clearing your closet! You’re supporting fellow cyclists in Fort William and reducing the environmental impact of the biking industry. Here are some of the benefits of donating:
- You can help the environment by reducing waste and pollution. Your old gear will get a new life instead of ending up in the rubbish bin. You can also save resources and energy that would otherwise be used to produce new gear.
- You can help other cyclists who may not be able to afford new gear. Your donation will put a smile on someones face and get them out of their bike!
- You can support a good cause and give back to the community. Your donation will help raise funds for the Fort William Bike Park. Your donation helps to keep the Bike Park open and running.
- You can declutter your closet making room for new adveture kit!
