Gravel riding may be a ‘new’ sport, but our Diverge Sport Carbon has been developed thanks to over four decades of experience. It’s got our Future Shock 1.5 and a FACT 8r carbon frame for a fast, confident and comfortable ride on road, in the dirt, and over thick gravel. With gravel-inspired SRAM Apex 1 1×11 shifting and DT Swiss G540 wheels the Diverge Sport’s as capable as it is versatile. With Kanza winning Pathfinder Pro 38mm tires, the same rubber we spec on the S-Works Diverge, you’re ready to ride as fast and as far as you want.
- With a FACT 8r carbon frame, the Diverge Sport frame is incredible capable and race bike light. Pin it for your local dirt climb KOM, or grind up a giant back country peak, the light and lively Diverge will get you there faster.
- Speed, control and confidence – Future Shock 1.5 is ideal technology for the gravel rider. With 20mm of axial compliance, Future Shock 1.5 is progressively tuned specifically for gravel riding. This keeps you confident and in control, able to keep the power down and stay off the brakes over rough dirt roads and in thick loose gravel, all while keeping your hands, arms and neck fresh.
- We tossed gravel geometry ‘status-quo’ out the window. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we’ve ever created for a drop bar bike, giving riders a capable and stable bike in the dirt, that still feels responsive and nimble on the road. We’ve increased the frame’s reach, introduced a slacker head tube and a longer offset fork. All this creates incredible confidence with a planted feeling in the dirt, while spec’ing shorter stems keeps the overall cockpit length the same and the steering lively. We’ve kept the bike’s BB low to increase stability, but high enough to utilize with 650b wheels if that’s your jam.
- We’ve given the Diverge plenty of rack mounts, including fork and top tube mounts, to ensure you can take what you need, no matter how far you plan to go, or how long you plan to stay out.
- Nothing unlocks a bike’s capability like tire clearance, so we gave the new Diverge a whopping 47mm of tire clearance with a 700c wheel and 2.1” with a 650b wheel. Thanks to a drive side chain stay utilizing a solid beam of carbon behind the chain rings we’ve created clearance without using a fragile dropped chain stay design or increasing chain stay length.
With Future Shock suspension front and rear, the new Diverge STR delivers compliance without compromise. By suspending the rider—instead of the bike—Future Shock technology increases control and efficiency while decreasing fatigue, so you’ll be riding farther and faster over chunkier terrain than you believed possible. And the Diverge STR does this without the weight, sluggish pedal response, and inefficiency of other suspension systems. The Diverge STR Comp starts with our FACT 11r carbon frameset with front and rear Future Shock suspension. It’s built with Shimano’s new GRX820 groupset for fast, efficient shifting with a 10-51 cassette to ensure you have the gearing to tackle any ride. The bike rolls on the DT G540 wheels with 42mm Tracer Pro tires. Adventure Gear alloy handlebars, an S-Works carbon seatpost, and Power Sport saddle complete the package making the Diverge STR the most capable Diverge ever.
- The new Diverge doesn’t just have gorgeous lines, it has perfect curves too. Future Shock Rear puts 30mm of rear travel in the ideal path to smooth out rough road. Its hydraulic damping controls travel to eliminate “bobbing” under power and ensure big hits never catapult you from the saddle, all without compromising fit or pedaling efficiency.
- By suspending the rider with damped, tunable travel—20mm front/30mm rear—Future Shock Technology absorbs bump forces to boost your control and capability while retaining the efficiency and responsiveness of a rigid frame. Because as far as power transfer goes, it is a rigid frame. Power to the pedals makes the bike jump like a scared cat. You’re efficient, you’re comfortable, you’re in control. To create the Nuroad we took inspiration from our race and cyclocross bikes, then threw a little mountain bike DNA into the mix. There’s plenty of clearance for big, grippy and comfortable 45mm tyres – or 40mm if you run mudguards at the same time. There’s an integrated seat clamp, exceptionally tidy rack, guard and kickstand mounts, and neat internal cable routing to keep gear shifts grit- and mud-free for longer. Thru-axle wheels improve steering accuracy, even on the roughest roads. And the full carbon fork isn’t just lightweight – it also helps reduce vibration from the road and features lowrider rack mounts.
A great gravel bike frame blends the lively handling of a race bike with the ruggedness of a cyclocross machine and the comfort of a tourer. That’s a tricky balancing act to get right, but the Nuroad C:62 pulls it off. Lightweight carbon construction and careful attention to detail mean it’s tough, comfortable and versatile. The full carbon fork features lowrider rack mounts, while integrated carrier and mudguard mounts make it easy to accessorise. It’s practical, too – huge clearances mean you can run 45mm tyres without mudguards, or 40mm with.
RX9 – FURTHER REFINEMENT TO THE CLASSIC GRAVEL PERFORMER
We love the RX9 so much, it hits that perfect sweet spot for an all-road-off-road machine. It’s well-mannered on tarmac but really comes into its own when you turn down those unexplored trails you always wanted to check out. Confident off-road geometry means the RX9 is reassuringly capable for a dropbar bike.
Updated for 2023 with a brand-new frame, the RX9. With revised sizing to better fit smaller riders and some tweaks to the geometry to improve handling and stability. The new frame also features a stack of new bold boss fixing positions for the bike-packers out there – 2 on the top tube, 3 on the seat tube and 3 on top of downtube with another two underneath. Plus mudguard bosses! Truly the most versatile gravel bike we’ve built yet.
The responsive and comfortable double-butted alloy frame features a low 30.9 seat tube for plenty or standover. Meanwhile, a 142 x 12mm bolt-through rear and 15mm bolt-through Carbon fork gives a sturdy feel and sharp handling. The frame has internal dropper post compatibility too, so you can spec an RX9 to be as wild as you like. You’ve plenty of tyre choice too, with carefully shaped stays to allow up to 42mm 700c or a large volume 650b set-up.As ever, we’ve looked at the smaller details and added additional bottle mounts under the down tube to allow frame bag users another option, as well as internal cable routing with neat aluminium cable grommets.
Flat mount standard disc mount keeps things tidy and accessible for running panniers and mudguards – great for going the distance whatever the weather.
