We are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant/Bike Hire Assistant for the 2022 season to work 5 days per week (Tuesday to Saturday).
Summary of Sales Assistant/Bike Hire Assistant Position:
Reporting to the Shop Manager the Sales Assistant/Bike Hire Assistant is involved in all aspects of the shop floor including serving customers and managing stock. Helping with the organisation and the maintenance of the hire fleet with be a key part of the role. A good local knowledge along with top organisational skills are essential as well as a passion for all things biking.
Essential requirements of this role include:
- Excellent customer care skills;
- Great organisational skills;
- Be able to work both on their own and as part of the team;
- Exude enthusiasm for biking, and ebiking in Lochaber.
Delivering excellent customer service day in day out.
Key Tasks
Helping to ensure smooth day to day operations on the shop floor:
Following duties as requested which include:
Serving customers in a friendly welcoming manner,
Offering knowledgeable advice,
Using the till and epos system,
Being able to help with cleaning and organising of hire bikes.
