Hire Bike Mechanic – Summer Position (initially)
Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Senior Mechanics this position will be hands-on in helping to keep our extensive hire fleet in top condition. Other bike repairs, workshop administration, and assisting customers will also be required.
Essential requirements of this role include:
- Excellent customer care skills;
- Great organisational skills;
- Exude enthusiasm for biking;
- Have some level of mechanical experience. Note: Additional inhouse training will be provided as required.
Key Tasks:
- Deliver excellent customer service and respond positively and helpfully to any customer queries;
- Have a proactive attitude to organising hire bike fleet;
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used for each bicycle;
- Liaise with and carry out tasks as requested by Senior Mechanics and Retail Staff
- Keep the workshop clean and organised;
- Ensure that all repaired and assembled bicycles comply with safety regulations and standards;
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with bicycles.

Wage: Competitive – depending on experience.
