What Is a Demo Day?
A demo day at Off Beat Bikes is your chance to experience the best electric mountain bikes firsthand for FREE. It’s all about trying before you buy! Whether you’re new to e-biking or a seasoned rider, our demo days allow you to test ride the latest models and find your perfect match. At our demo days you’ll test ride an E-bike for an hour, guided along a route by Off Beat Bikes staff. They’re happy to answer questions throughout the demo day and can show you the ins and outs of your bike as well as answering any questions you have about E-bikes.
Our Different Demo Days
During the Full Suspension E-bike Demo, you’ll explore the Cow Hill loop. Typically, these sessions involve groups of 5 bikers accompanied by 2 Off Beat Bikes staff members. The 6-mile route features gravel road climbs and single track ascents, followed by a straightforward descent. Free to join with cake and tea after!

The Ladies Rides offer a delightful E-bike experience down Glen Nevis. As you explore forestry roads, you’ll have the chance to connect with like-minded ladies. Our knowledgeable Off Beat Bikes guides will be there to answer any questions—whether they’re about general biking or E-bike specifics. Plus, after the ride, enjoy some cake and tea! It’s a fantastic opportunity to ride, learn, and connect.
The E-bike Taster Rides are ideal for those who haven’t experienced E-bikes before and want to learn more. We’ll set a leisurely pace, starting from the shop along the shorefront and heading up the canal bank. During the ride, our knowledgeable Off Beat Bikes staff will guide you through the ins and outs of E-bikes. It’s a great opportunity to get acquainted with E-bikes
What To Expect on the Day?
- Arrival: Arrive at our shop by 11:00 AM. Get ready to ride, fill up water bottles, and drop your bags.
- Ride Starts: We’ll provide you with a demo bike and hit the trails.
- Coffee and Cake: After the ride, return to Off Beat Bikes for complimentary coffee and cake. Chat with our staff
