Frequently Asked Questions
We’re open for hire Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Bikes can be rented for this period, however, must be collect on Saturday and returned Tuesday to Saturday.
Yes! We’ll give you a helmet, bike lock and local route route map.
That depends on what you’re looking for. Fort William has a bit of everything making it hard to know where the best place to go is. Our staff know the trails in and out and will advise you the best places to ride when you pick up your hire bike.
Our hire bikes are not suitable for the Nevis Range uplift trails. They are great for the lower blue and red trails.

All our bikes can go off road but please see our ‘Bike Type’ section to see what kind of off road they are suitable for.
We don’t supply child seats or tagalongs. You can bring your own and fit it to our hire bikes at your own risk. We do have kids bikes for hire if you’re little one is big enough.
We do have a double child trailer available to hire for £25 a day.

Yes! We can collect bikes from Inverness or Oban. Leave your bikes with Alpine Bikes in Inverness or Oban Cycles in Oban.
