Leanachan B round 9
West Highland Wheelers Winter Series 2007 – Round 9 Leanachan B 15th April The last race of the winter league was held on Sunday with a line-up of 31 riders. Conditions were excellent with the added bonus of having a brand new section of the Witches trail to use in the course. The League was potentially still open to a couple of riders to win but at the end of the race Ben Thompson took the overall top spot followed by John Shirley then Angus Mcsween.
The ladies overall was won by Katie Tuer followed by Colleen Foggo then Marian Austin.
Despite a broken collar-bone sustained while road racing in Ireland, Graham Neagle had done enough over the season to take top spot in the juniors for the second year running . Second was Jamie Maxwell, also out with injury at the moment, and Duncan Gunn coming third overall.
