Leanachan round 5
Riders faced cold, wet conditions over a tough 11 mile course in Leanachan on Sunday. Alex Glasgow returned from a winter league absence to set a blistering pace which punished following riders and left a substantial gap in the final times. Young Graham Neagle finished a strong second with Gavin Shirley third only just managing to stay ahead of his dad and saving face!
Katy Tuer put in another excellent performance as did Colleen Foggo both earning vital league points. Fionna, Alison and Bridget all crossed the line together in fine spirits despite the wind and the rain.
Thanks to the Forestry Commission and Nevis Range for permissions and thanks to Jim for marshalling. The next race is Wolftrax on the 25th of this month.
