Fresh from studying in Edinburgh, Jamie has returned home to follow his passion for mountain biking. Past Junior Scottish Cross Country MTB Champion, Jamie knows all about the extremes of competition and the importance of a fully functional bike!

Jon arrived in Fort William in February 2017. He’s mad for biking and kayaking and will no doubt be making his mark in Lochaber in the coming months! An experienced cycle mechanic, Jon holds his Velotech Gold Certificate in Cycle Maintenance.

Bike Mechanic

Calum is into anything biking and while on his Outdoor Adventure Course at the West Highland College UHI has committed to working at Off Beat Bikes on his free days. Calum’s skills and experience have been gained working as a Cycle Mechanic for Bike Hut in Halfords.

Nicky has lived in Fort William all her life and has always been involved in lots of outdoor activities. Mountain biking, running, swimming and a bit of anything else thrown in; Nicky’s enthusiasm for practical, stylish kit will ensure you’ll get expert advice! Nicky has achieved her Cytech Level 1 Certificate in Cycle Maintenance.

Local Mallaig girl, Lyndsey is always on the go. With 5 children and a dog you just can’t imagine how much more she can squeeze into her day! Biking and running at any opportunity; Lyndsey likes nothing more than getting up to see the sun rise from Melantee while the rest of the world is still sleeping!

Living in Fort William since 1991, Foss is the main driving force behind the reincarnation of Off Beat Bikes! Always full of craic and up for a challenge, Foss is happy on a bike or on the hill. He will be completing his 21st Ben Nevis Race this September!

A wee bit of history

Off Beat Bikes, founded in a back garden shed in 1985, brought the mountain biking world to Fort William and is now bouncing back!
